A little about me

For over a decade, I worked in the field of Human Resources.  I was working as an HR director for a mid-size corporation when COVID-19 caused a slowdown in the industry, and I was laid off.  The loss of that job was the push I needed to fully move into the field of content creation - an industry I had been dabbling in as a side gig.  The past year and a half have taught me that change, while challenging, can bring with it possibilities that were only once a dream.

I love adventures - big and small.  I love the beach in the winter and the mountains in fall.  I am a city girl who loves the quiet of the country.  I love to be outside and, on a sunny day, you will find me on a hiking trail or a paddleboard at the lake.

I believe there is tremendous power in kindness and that small acts of kindness can change lives.  I believe in the goodness of people - we are all more alike than we are different.  I have seen the beauty that comes from love in action, and I strive, every day, to find ways to push that forward.

The most important thing to know about me, though, is that I'm a mom.  It took a long time, and I traveled a windy to get that title, but I can say, without hesitation, that my daughter is worth it all.  She is my greatest joy.
